Michelle Strauss is a philanthropist and civic leader who has dedicated more than 30 years to charitable work in service of education, remembrance, and Franco-American friendship. As CEO of the Strauss Family Office, she leads a mission to revive core American values through strategic community investment and programs that harness the power of sport to teach civic virtue and honor the nation’s history.
Michelle is a native of Seattle, Washington and has residences in both Kirkland, Washington and Château de Marisalet, Picauville, France. She is a descendant of Warren G. Harding, 29th President of the United States. In addition to being a member of the board of trustees of The Society of Presidential Descendants, she also sits on the National First Ladies Day Commission.
Michelle is Founder and Chairman of Patriot Legacy Sports, Founder of The Remembrance Project— “Educate through Sport, Honor with Remembrance”, Co-Founder and Producer of the Remembrance Bowl (U.S. Army 82nd vs. 101st Airborne, Château de Marisalet, and Founder and Host of the Annual Allied Soldiers Dinner at Château de Marisalet, during the D-Day commemorations in Normandy.
