Edward Hayes is the third great grandson of Rutherford B. Hayes, the 19th President of the United States of America.
Hayes is a Private Wealth Advisor with Morgan Stanley’s Private Wealth Management Division. Prior to joining the firm in 2018, Edward was a Managing Partner with a boutique investment firm, and co-founded Banyan Point, an OCIO and Multi-Family Office. Previously, he served as a Partner on a Barclays Wealth and Investment Management team managing over $1.5 Billion in client assets across all asset classes, both public and private. He came to Barclays as part of their acquisition of Lehman Brothers in September of 2008.
Edward lives just outside of Washington, D.C. where he enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and twin daughters.
